The Northern Lights Music Festival is proud to celebrate the continued success of alumn Conan Yang, who will appear as a featured soloist with the Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra in New Jersey on June 7, 2026.

A student of NLMF Artic Director Veda Zuponcic, Conan, now 15 years old, will perform Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1, as part of the orchestra’s annual Concerto Extravaganza concert. The performance will take place at Princeton Alliance Church in Plainsboro, New Jersey, under the direction of conductor Chiu-Tze Lin.

Northern Lights audiences will remember Conan as the winner of the 2025 Helen Bradach Zuponcic Concerto Competition, where he impressed audiences with his remarkable artistry, technical mastery, and musical maturity.

Conan’s upcoming performance with the Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra represents another significant milestone in what is already becoming an impressive musical journey. The Northern Lights Music Festival is proud to have played a role in Conan’s artistic development and is delighted to see him continuing to achieve new successes. We extend our congratulations to Conan and wish him the very best for this exciting performance.
