Maggie Reneé, a mezzo-soprano from Miami, Florida, is a Metropolitan Opera Competition Grand Finalist Award Winner, a 1st Place Cooper-Bing Awards Winner, Saengerbund Awards Winner, Rochester Oratorio Society Emerging Artist Winner, an Opera Index Award Winner, Sullivan Foundation Finalist, Igor Gorin Memorial Award Recipient, Career Bridge Award Winner and an Honors BM, MM, ADOS graduate of The Juilliard School.

Her recent performances include: Carmen with Music Academy of the West, Carmen with Juilliard Opera, Baba the Turk with Barbara Hannigan’s production of The Rakes Progress with the Swedish Orchestra, and Venus with Vienna Volksoper.

Previously at Des Moines Opera she covered Carmen and sang Nicolette in The Love for Three Oranges, sang Irene in Atalanta at Juilliard, Zweiter Knabe at Merola, Baba the Turk at Juilliard Opera, covered Olga and Due Donne at Santa Fe Opera and sang King Egeo and Goffredo at Juilliard. She also sang Carmen in La Tragédie de Carmen with City Lyric Opera, toured Europe with Juilliard’s Dido and Aeneas and made her European debut as Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro in Germany.
