Pianist Yianni Iliadis has enjoyed concerto performances, solo recitals, and chamber music concerts in the US and abroad. He has served on the faculty of Killington Music Festival in Vermont and he frequently collaborates on recitals, competitions, masterclasses, and chamber music concerts. He has played with artists such as Valerie Coleman and John Barcellona and performs at many conferences and music series such as the National YoungArts Week, Florida Flute Association Convention, Florida State Music Teachers Association Convention, and Mid-South Flute Festival at University of Memphis, TN.

An avid piano teacher in the community, Yianni is the president of the Miami Music Teachers Association, an organization founded in 1934 which is part of the Music Teachers National Association. Yianni is a part time Lecturer at the Frost School of Music – University of Miami, where he is accompanying the Musical Theater class. At the Frost School he received his DMA and holds degrees from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University – Long Beach (MM) and the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece (BM). He also holds the Piano Diploma from the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, where he graduated with the Outstanding Performance Award. As winner of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and the CSULB concerto competitions, he has performed with the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Bob Cole Conservatory Symphony in Long Beach.

Yianni who also served one year as Artist in Residence at the Miami Cancer Institute is the study coordinator of the research study: “The neural network connectivity of autobiographical music in adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment.” conducted at the University of Miami since 2022. Yianni is grateful for his teachers and mentors Santiago Rodriguez, Tian Ying, Naoko Takao, Shun-Lin Chou, and Margarita Efraimidou.
