Born and raised in China, since the age of six, Lu Li, has appeared in Young Artist competitions and music festivals. She received her Master’s degree in France, and completed DMA degree in violin performance, orchestral conducting and string pedagogy at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), USA, studied under Professor Kurt Sassmannshaus, Professor Mark Gibson and Dr. Aik Khai Pung.

As an active violin soloist and chamber musician, Ms. Li has been invited to perform in several top international music festivals which include Lucerne Festival (Switzerland), Aspen Music Festival (USA), Northern Lights Music Festival (USA), Spoleto Festival (Italy), “Aujourd’hui” Music Festival (France), and Le Boulou Music Festival (France/Spain). 2023 marks an exciting year of Ms. Li’s string quartet “Lieto Quartet” which was invited to play in Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival (FL), sharing stage with the famous Dover Quartet. In October, her quartet had another concert tour in the U.S. and was invited to play chamber music recitals and educational concerts in the Highlands-Cashier Chamber Music Festival (NC).

Lu Li’s music has gained her international awards by winning the Grand Prix of Global Genius Music Competition in United Kingdom; First Prize of Red Maple International Music Competition; Gold Medal of Canadian International Music Competition; Third Prize of IX Stockholm International Music Competition, Clara Schumann International Competition and the 5th International Moscow Music Competition.

Currently, Ms. Li serves as a violinist in Queen City Opera, Springfield Symphony Orchestra and Lieto Quartet in Ohio (USA), and joined in the Columbus-Indiana Philharmonic (IN) in 2022.
