Give to the Max Day Brings Donors Together

This year’s campaign brought steady participation from supporters across the Iron Range and beyond. The Golden Ticket—a bonus prize awarded randomly throughout the 24-hour giving period—provided an unexpected boost, lifting the festival’s total and reinforcing the value of donor engagement during the event.

Festival organizers noted that Give to the Max Day has become a key part of their fundraising calendar. “We’re grateful for every donor who contributed,” Artistic Director Veda Zuponcic stated. “The support we received helps move our planning forward as we shape the upcoming season.”

Northern Lights Music Festival relies on individual contributions, grants, and ticket revenue to produce its July lineup, which includes a fully staged opera, orchestral and chamber music concerts, and educational programming. Funds from this year’s Give to the Max Day will support artist fees, production expenses, rehearsal needs, and outreach efforts that bring high-level performance opportunities to the region.
